Mind & Body Transformation Retreat
Have you noticed it's easier to have compassion for others than for yourself? Have you struggled to care for yourself over the past three years during a pandemic? Holding space for others, while caring for yourself as a therapist, can be exhausting. Can you relate to clients that feel lost and just want to feel happy again? It's time to practice self-compassion and acceptance!
Have you spent thousands of dollars on training, conferences, and certifications and still lack the confidence to use what you "learned"?
Well, this retreat is for you...
This retreat will focus on the whole person: mind, body, heart, and spirit. We have designed a retreat that will allow you to learn and practice an array of mind, body, and somatic exercises. This "bottom-up" approach of using body and brain-based experiences, intends to affect the body with the mind and the mind with the body...they are connected! This powerful integration has the ability to create tremendous change, growth, and awareness.
You will leave feeling confident in your practice because this retreat is not the conventional "sit and learn", but a true "practice" retreat. You will have the opportunity to practice each skill.
We believe the wisdom of the group is more powerful than any one person. You will meet, join, and share with other therapists, creating lifelong connections.
Oh, and did I mention we would be doing ALL of this in the beautiful valley of the moon? You will be immersed in the beauty of nature. Your senses will be flooded.
All great stuff for creating a new space for yourself.
Cheers!

Brain-Body Based Trainings
Topics covered: self-compassion, acceptance, trauma, bodywork. Identify and work through negative thoughts and emotions, change the dialogue and inner critic, embrace all parts of yourself through acceptance, practice somatic exercises for calming the parasympathetic nervous system, breathing and meditation exercises. *No certifications offered

Retreat Facility in Sonoma Valley, CA
We have a beautiful property reserved for this retreat. It sits in the trees surrounded by hills and fields. We will stay in adorable cabins in the woods with covered porches. Everyone has an individual bed assigned in shared rooms with private bathrooms. There's a large pool, meditation gardens, a labyrinth, and plenty of space to spread out. We have a designated meeting space overlooking the pool and gardens.

All Meals Included
All meals served: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will have a private chef cooking onsite. You will have coffee, water, and tea available all day. The meals are locally sourced and use organic ingredients as much as possible. We will share meals as a group in a large, open-concept kitchen. We will also serve lunch on the day of our wine tour as well.

Wine Tour
We will spend one day touring the vineyards of Sonoma and Napa valleys. We will have a private luxury charter drive us to all the tastings. Lunch will be offered on this day and there are plenty of opportunities for instagram-worthy photos. Have fun making memories with your new friends. If you're not a big wine fan, there are plenty of gift shops and sites to see. You will not be bored!
FINDING SPACE FOR SELF...
Brain & Body Based Techniques
This retreat will focus on the examination and elimination of unrealistic expectations of yourself. We will identify negative thoughts and emotions keeping us stuck and learn strategies for changing the dialogue, while smashing the inner critic. Learn to embrace your strengths, worthiness, and whole self. We learn the relationship between self-compassion, acceptance, and happiness. We will also address the benefit of boundaries and what that looks like day-to-day and in business. Boundaries allow you to love yourself and others. All of this can be applied personally and in your practice with those you help.
Self-Compassion
Learn to identify and work through negative thoughts and emotions about yourself and the world around you. Change the dialogue and counter the inner critic. Learn how to grant yourself grace.
Acceptance
Learn to embrace parts of yourself: the good and the not so good. Learning how to accept all of YOU can change your life and activate great things in your life. Being unconditional allows you to be happy. Learn to stay authentic while maintaining boundaries.
Trauma & Body
Movement is a powerful source of healing for your body and mind. We will practice experiential work around the trauma stored in your body. Use movement to identify negative emotions linked to negative thoughts and images in the mind.
